The evening will be a celebration of the Business Council’s work over the past 50 years to advance economic prosperity across BC and will honor some of the province's finest businesses and business leaders for their ongoing contributions in support of this mission. 

We are honoured to host Lorraine Mitchelmore, co-chair of Smart Prosperity and former President and Country Chair of Shell Canada as our keynote speaker. Multi-billion dollar public and private investments in health care are on the horizon. How can these investments ensure that our health care system rewards innovation, and is used as an asset that encourages economic growth and healthier cities?

British Columbia has a massive opportunity in the new St Paul’s hospital. How can that opportunity be used to build a healthier city and a new health precinct that yields a stronger economy and creates jobs?

To date, more than 1,000 leaders from across North America and Europe have attended The Data Effect. At the same time, CityAge has organized over 20 additional conferences that address opportunities in business of city-building.
