Finding the Path to Shared Prosperity

Event Description

Join this one-day dialogue about the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples and hear success stories and strategies from B.C.

B.C.'s game-changing new approach to Indigenous law means moving forward together – as a province, as First Nations, as businesses, as a country. Be in the conversation, share, and learn.

The United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP) calls for all of us to collaborate and work together - to build a new path towards co-prosperity, one that is guided and informed by Indigenous Peoples.

British Columbia will be the first jurisdiction in Canada to adopt and implement the Declaration. The right path will represent a brighter future for Canada, but what will it look like? And how do we get there?

The Declaration calls for boundary-breaking, open discourse to address these questions. Right now, implementation of the Declaration is challenged by an absence of that discourse.

The Finding the Path to Shared Prosperity event will be a game-changer as Indigenous leaders, government representatives, and industry visionaries come together for the critical conversations that are needed to help illuminate the path forward. This is a conversation that needs you.
