Many B.C. small businesses are slashing staff, closing and giving up on long-held dreams as fears about spreading the COVID-19 virus take precedence.
The outlook is dire, but the executive vice president of the Business Council of B.C., Jock Finlayson, said Ottawa’s more aggressive package for small business owners, announced on Friday, will reduce the risk of ‘worst-case’ outcomes.
