Our Vision

The Business Council strives to create a prosperous province for the benefit of all British Columbians through a thriving private sector driven economy. To meet this vision, we work to inform the public policy landscape with robust, fact-based macro-economic public policy research, analysis, advice and thought leadership. We convene leaders to connect, collaborate and explore opportunities and solutions which strengthen our economy. We advocate for stakeholders and public policy decision-makers to take action in support of creating an economically and socially prosperous British Columbia.

We believe a thriving, innovative, and sustainable economy is necessary to foster a high quality of life, personal prosperity, and opportunities for all individuals in B.C., including Indigenous nations. This economy also empowers governments and organizations to assist vulnerable individuals and offer the crucial services and infrastructure we all depend on.
