Shaping the future of British Columbia — together.
Established in 1966, the Business Council of British Columbia is a non-partisan organization dedicated to promoting prosperity for current and future generations.
Comprised of over 200 leading B.C. companies, post-secondary institutions and industry associations, BCBC provides credible information, fosters cross-sectoral relationships and advocates for bold and practical solutions to the policy challenges of our time.
Inform, Convene, Advocate
A lot has changed since 1966, when business leaders from across the province came together to establish what is now known as the Business Council of British Columbia. However, our vision for a prosperous province driven by a thriving, innovative and sustainable economy remains unchanged.
To advance this vision, we:
Inform the public policy landscape with robust, evidence-based research, analysis, advice and thought leadership.
Convene leaders from across sectors to foster connections, collaboration and the exploration of opportunities and solutions that strengthen our economy.
Advocate to create an economic ecosystem that benefits all British Columbians
